Your privacy rights

Klenza handles personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you at any time.

What we collect and why

We collect the information needed to run the service: your name, contact details, address and booking preferences; for team members, scheduling, availability and work records; for everyone, the account credentials you set. Location data is only collected while a cleaner is en route to a job, with consent, and is deleted within 24 hours.

Retention

Personal information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes it was collected for. Job, invoice and payment records are retained as required by Canadian tax and accounting law; field photos are tied to the job they document.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. Deletion anonymizes your personal information — your name, contact details and uploaded photos are removed — while job and invoice records are kept, anonymized, for legal and accounting retention. Once deleted, your sign-in is permanently revoked.
